WEEK OF PRAYER AT ST BARNABAS

.
St Barnabas had a wonderfully encouraging week in early December, and their second week starts from today, Sunday 25th February. They have changed their pattern slightly from last time. Please see which parts of their week you might be able to attend and go visit their prayer room. It's beautiful. The main aspects of the week are:

.

a) Daily times of prayer in church at 7:30am and 8:00pm.
b) The church and/or prayer room open 9:30am-12:30pm Monday to Friday for times of individual prayer.
a) A ‘Prayer Tea’ at 5pm on Sunday 25th February to ‘launch’ the week, when people of all ages are encouraged to come.
b) A ‘Prayer Breakfast’ 9:00-10:00am on Saturday 3rd March.
c) A Prayer focus in our services on Sunday 4th March.
d) Themes for each day of the week to guide prayers.
e) A book and Post-Its to record what God has said to you in prayer through words, pictures, scripture, etc.
f) A list for people to sign up to commit themselves to pray for an hour during the day (or night) where-ever they are; at home, at work, travelling …etc.
g) All evening church meetings during the week have been cancelled or moved.
h) Housegroups have been encouraged to attend the evening prayer sessions in church (8pm) rather than have their normal evening meetings.

.
Last time everyone involved that Dave spoke to found the whole 24/7 Prayer Week encouraging and uplifting, and helped the church to move their prayer-life to a new level. He is sure their next week of 24/7 prayer will move them forward again, that God will speak to them and they will move forward in faith, both as individuals and as the body of Christ.

.

Go for it, St Barnabas!
